Anonymous Village is your sober oasis at Burning Man located at 530 and Fascinate.

Whether you are sober or you just need a break from the substances you are welcome to join us. We are a fellowship of sober burners who are here to support each other’s recovery journey at Burning Man and beyond, while having a blast in the process.

AV offers a substance free place to camp, 12-step meetings throughout day/evening, and a warm and welcoming community so that you can enjoy all the Burning Man fun, without the hangover.

Our shared facilities include:

• (Huge) Meeting Tent

• 12 Step Meetings throughout the day and night

• Hospitality Tent (coffee and snacks 24/7)

• Shaded camping area

• Showers for AVers only (we do not provide solar shower bags)

• Shame Shanty (tell your most embarrassing drinking/using stories and WIN A PRIZE!)

• Burn Barrel

• A safe-haven from drugs and alcohol at Burning Man

Hey AV Folk! This message is for both new and long-time AV residents:

Anonymous Village is hosting two separate “Acculturation Talks” during Event Week. Like last year, the talks will be held on Monday and Wednesday at 5:00 pm. The purpose of these talks is to provide new AV residents and/or first-time Burners with information on Burning Man’s Ten Principles, which is a request from the Burning Man organization for all theme camps to make sure citizens of Black Rock City are aware of and informed on the Ten Principles. We’ll also provide information and general etiquette tips of living in Anonymous Village.

So: If you are a first time Burner, or are new to AV and will be camping with us for the first time, please plan on attending one of the two meetings Mon or Wed at 5:00 pm in the Hospitality tent. The meeting will be complete before the 6pm Any-A meeting.

And: If you are a long-time AV resident and willing to speak for 5 minutes on one of the Principles at one of the meetings, please contact me directly and I’ll add you to the roster.
